Conference program

For the participants who sent an abstract, but did not submit a full paper, a poster session will be organized during the coffee and lunch breaks of June 15 and 16, at the second floor of FCCIA/UTCB building. There is no imposed format for the poster, but it should fit within A0 format. Because of the numerous requests of the interested participants in 6 CNIS & 2 CNISS, the Scientific and Organizing Committees decided to extend the deadline for the submission of the abstracts until March 6th, 2017.

The 6th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering and the 2nd National Conference on Earthquake Engineering and Seismology - 6CNIS & 2CNISS, will take place on June 14-17, 2017 in Bucharest - Romania, at the Technical University of Civil Engineering. The previous National Conferences were hosted by the Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest in 1997, 2001, 2005, 2009 and 2014.

The 6CNIS & 2CNISS will offer a stimulating and challenging environment for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience. The organizers invite scientists, engineers, contractors, urban planners and policy officials to participate in this event. The renowned international scholars from the International Advisory Committee will provide keynote and invited lectures in the plenary sessions.

The papers accepted by the International Advisory Committee and Scientific Committee will be published in the Conference Proceedings; authors of the accepted papers will present their contribution in the Symposium.

The language of the Conference is English.

The Opening Ceremony will be held at the Romanian Academy on June 14th, 2017, afternoon.

The Conference will be organized with parallel sessions and poster exhibitions (if necessary). Authors will be informed about the oral/poster decision by 15.03.2017.

The paper format will be available on the Conference website (starting with 15.03.2017).

Authors will indicate the presenting author when submitting the paper.
